Some big changes are coming to the Northeast starting next week, good changes for some and bad for others. Let us explain and show you what the weather models are telling us. Sit down its going to be a bumpy ride!!

Below is the EURO model showing temps on Jan 21st and they are cold. Please remember that this is just model guidance and can change before the date shown. That is a classic set up for cold and snow for the Northeast due to the large ridge in the west and a block over the east.

Below is the EURO model showing the Extreme Cold is still pouring out of Canada due to a large Ridge in the west "We added a red arrow to show the large ridge over the west"

At this point we know that cold air will make a comeback and will stay for a longer period of time then the last cold snap a few weeks back. There will be chances for a few storms to get going along the Mid-Atlantic coast bringing snow to the area but we will tackle that once we get the cold locked in.

If you have any questions on this outlook please feel free to ask us and we will answer them for you.
